How on earth can i make a template page, and allow users to utilize it? I am new this wiki stuff, and i don't get how i'm supposed to make a template page which people can look at and understand their use. I sa the ones at Camp Half Blood Wiki, but i don't know how to make the page.--||Tabs-Kitty||--Yeah, I believe in pixies. Issues?☮ 09:39, March 6, 2012 (UTC)

You can create a template page in the exact same way you create any other page. Making a useful template, on the other hand, can be quite a bit more involved. You won't get very far unless you have a decent grasp on at least basic markup, and understanding advanced markup such as tables, as well as ParserFunctions and StringFunctions, will greatly increase the amount you're able to do with templates. You also need to know what you can create a template for; you can't simply sit down and say "I'm going to create a template now" without a clear purpose for the template, since in that case it probably wouldn't do anything useful when you're done.
Other than that, I'm really not sure what to say; do you have any more specific questions? ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 17:08, March 6, 2012 (UTC)
Yes. When you create a page but you mean it to be a template, how do you tell it that it's a template page and not an ordinary content page? Joe 2416 Assassins! 07:26, June 6, 2012 (UTC)
Its name should start with "Template:", e.g. Template:Navbox or Template:User. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 07:50, June 6, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks.
