How to copy templates to your wiki

This article covers how to copy templates from Wikia Templates to your wiki/

[edit] General steps

  • You will need the following templates on your wiki: Template:T, Template:T/piece, and Template:Documentation and their individual /doc pages.
  • For each template then just take the main template page and the template/doc page. It should work immediately.

[edit] Alternative (sysops only)

You can go to Special:Export here on Wikia templates, type in the name (use include all revisions), and go to your wiki and use Special:Import.

Some wikis use other templates, such as Template:Blank and others.
