Emoticon templates Edit

I'm loving these emoticon templates you've added. Can you add a "Dependencies" section in the docs with a link to the image file used by the template? Alot of less experience wiki users don't think about dependencies unless it is explicitly mentioned. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 2 Sep 2011 9:09 AM Pacific

I've been wanting to make a more generic template myself, but can't decide on a good name. Other than that, I think I have its functionality pretty well figured out. 「ディノ奴千？！」^{? · ☎ Dinoguy1000} 19:22, September 2, 2011 (UTC)

I have thought of a good name. Apparently, wikipedia has a similar naming idea with its emoticons template. Personally, I think phpBB emoticons image set is better than wikipedia's.

Fandyllic, if you want to quickly use the templates, just copy {{=}} and {{=/doc}}. The images are hotlinked, which is probably fine as otherwise, you would have to maintain the files, and wikia would unnecessarily keep track of every use of the images (as what happened with wikipedia's).
